The Rocky River Community Center is hosting a bluegrass concert Sat. July 31 at 7pm. Performers include Lakeside from Madisonville, Lantana Drifters from Crossville plus Joyce and Wesley. A Gospel Meeting will take place Aug. 1-4 at the Bonner Church of CHrist in Warren Co. Johnny Fox is the guest speaker. Bible Study at 9am, worship at 10am. A covered dish lunch will follow. Sunday evening services at 7:30pm. Weeknight services at 7pm. Everyone is welcome.
A benefit for cancer victim Tessa Smith will be held Fri. Aug. 6 from 4pm-8pm at Covenant Academy gymnasium on Manchester Highway in Morrison. They'll have a silent auction, hot dogs and BBQ, children's games and theme baskets to raffle. Music includes: Covenant Fellowship Praise Band, Color Blind with 12 year old Mileah Milstead. Tessa is a student at Centertown Elementary and proceeds benefit her and her family.
A chili supper, benefit, auction and live music for Casy Armstrong will be held Sat. Aug. 7 from 5pm-9:15pm at the Bridgestone Union Hall. Admission is 5 dollars which includes meal, drink, and dessert. Auction at 6:45. Music by The Connection and Under The Influence. Everyone is welcome.
